Llyn Brenig is a spring covenant located in North Wales in Clocaenog Forest, close to Ruthin. All the Magi are young and inexperienced, having just passed their Apprentices Gauntlet. The covenant is based in a ruined tower at the top of a large hill, the history of which is unknown. The covenant was founded in 1150 and the current year is 1151.
