Overview
The covenant is a spring covenant founded in 1150. It is located on the
site of an earlier settlement on the top of a hill in the forest of Clocaenog in the Welsh
Principality of Gwynedd. It is based in the ruins of a large stone tower. Who the previous
inhabitants were and why they left is unknown. The nearest large settlement is Ruthin
while the local lords fortress is at Denbigh. At this point in time Owain is Prince of
Gwynedd and Stephen King of England.
