Rumours There is a rose in the Garden of Shrewsbury cathedral that 1/year grows white leaves. A mass conducted when this happens. The rose only grows on Christmas Eve and lasts for 3 days. In Chester there is a pool with a fountain in the garden of a merchant. Once per month a strange water stone can be found at the bottom of the pool. Local stream - when the ice cracks the shards of ice flow down the stream but don't melt. There is some debate over whether the bones of St Madoc should be moved from their current resting place in a village near Ruthin and be interred elsewhere.
