Rose in a Garden of a cathedral in Shrewsbury that 1/year grows
white leaves. Mass conducted when this happens. Only grows on
Christmas Eve for 3 days.
In Chester there is a pool with a
fountain in the garden of a merchant. Once per month a strange water
stone can be found at the bottom of the pool.
Local stream - when the ice cracks
shards of ice flow down the stream but don't melt.
Some debate over whether the bones of St
Madoc should be moved from their current resting place in a village
near Ruthin and be interred elsewhere. Several competing delegations
are making the case for this. The locals have yet to be convinced.
